Q1. How do I create an account on SkyeOne?
Download the SkyeOne app from Google Play Store or visit skyeone.app. Tap 'Sign Up', enter your name, mobile number, and email. Verify your mobile via OTP and you're ready to browse and book.
Q2. What types of events can I book on SkyeOne?
SkyeOne currently supports: - Weddings & pre-wedding functions (engagement, mehndi, sangeet, reception). - Corporate events (conferences, offsites, team parties, product launches). - Social celebrations (birthday parties, anniversaries, baby showers, family gatherings). More event categories are added regularly. If you don't see your event type, contact us at support@skyeone.app.
Q3. Which cities are currently served by SkyeOne?
SkyeOne currently operates in Bhubaneswar (Odisha). We are expanding to more cities — follow us on social media or subscribe to our newsletter for launch announcements.
Q4. How do I know a venue is available on my date?
Every venue on SkyeOne has a live availability calendar. When you select your event date during search, only available venues are shown. Once a venue is booked, that date is blocked for other customers in real time — so you can book with confidence.
Q5. Can I visit the venue before booking?
Yes. Most venues on SkyeOne offer a site visit option. You can request a site visit from the venue listing page. Visits are coordinated directly between you and the venue. SkyeOne does not charge for site visit requests.
Q6. What is the payment schedule? Do I need to pay everything upfront?
Payments are split into tranches based on how far your event is from today: - 15+ days away: 20% advance now, 50% at E-15, 30% at E-7. - 7–15 days away: 50% now, 50% closer to the event. - Within 7 days: 100% upfront (rush booking). All payments are processed securely through the platform.
Q7. What payment methods are accepted?
SkyeOne accepts all major UPI apps (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), credit cards, debit cards, and net banking. EMI options may be available for select bookings above ₹50,000.
Q8. Are the prices on SkyeOne inclusive of GST?
Yes. All listed prices include GST. The price you see on a listing is the price you pay — no additional taxes are added at checkout.
Q9. What is the cancellation policy?
Refunds depend on when you cancel relative to the event date: - 30+ days before: Full advance refunded (minus platform fee). - 15–29 days before: 50% of advance refunded. - 8–14 days before: Advance forfeited; any milestone payment returned. - 7 days or less / event day / no-show: No refund. For force majeure (natural disasters, government orders), SkyeOne will offer date reschedule or platform credits.
Q10. Can I reschedule my booking instead of cancelling?
Rescheduling is subject to the vendor's availability on the new date. Please contact support@skyeone.app with your booking ID and preferred new date at least 15 days before your event. Rescheduling within 7 days of the event is treated as a cancellation.
Q11. What happens if I miss a milestone or balance payment?
SkyeOne sends automated reminders before each payment due date. If your milestone payment is not received by 7 days before the event (E-7 midnight), your booking is automatically cancelled and your advance is forfeited. We recommend setting calendar reminders alongside our platform notifications.
Q12. How do platform credits work?
SkyeOne occasionally runs promotions where customers earn platform credits. Credits can be applied toward future bookings on the platform. Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have a validity of 12 months from the date of issue.
Q13. How do I contact a vendor after booking?
Once a booking is confirmed, you can contact the vendor directly via the in-app messaging feature or using the contact details shared in your booking confirmation email. For any disputes, always loop in SkyeOne support.
Q14. Is my personal data safe with SkyeOne?
Yes. SkyeOne collects only the data necessary to process your booking. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Vendors are given only the event-relevant information they need to deliver their service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Q15. How do I raise a complaint or dispute?
For any issue with a booking: - Email: support@skyeone.app (response within 24 business hours). - In-app: Use the 'Help & Support' section on your booking page. For urgent issues within 48 hours of an event, call our event emergency line (available in the app). SkyeOne aims to resolve all disputes within 5 business days.
Q1. How do I list my venue or service on SkyeOne?
Getting listed is straightforward: - Contact our onboarding team at support@skyeone.app or via the 'List Your Business' form on the website. - Our operations team will schedule a call to understand your service, pricing, and availability. - We help you build your listing — photos, amenities, pricing, and calendar setup. - Go live within 3–5 business days of completing onboarding. There is no listing fee. SkyeOne earns only when you earn — through a commission on confirmed bookings.
Q2. What commission does SkyeOne charge?
Commission is charged as a percentage of the total booking value: - Venues (Year 1): 12% of total booking value. - Add-on services (catering, decor, photography, etc.): 15%. Commission is deducted only from the advance payment tranche — all milestone and balance payments reach you in full. No commission GST is charged to vendors in Year 1.
Q3. When will I receive my payment?
Payouts follow this schedule: - Advance (net of commission): Within 48 hours of booking confirmation. - Milestone: Within 24 hours of milestone payment clearance from the customer. - Balance: Within 24 hours of balance payment clearance. Payouts are made via NEFT/IMPS to your registered bank account.
Q4. Can I set my own prices?
Yes. You set your listing price within SkyeOne's approved price bands. You can also set seasonal pricing variations (up to ±25% from your base price) for peak and off-peak periods. All prices must be GST-inclusive.
Q5. What happens if a customer cancels?
Vendor payouts on cancellations depend on the timing. For cancellations within 7 days of the event, you retain your net advance payout. For earlier cancellations, payouts that have not yet been disbursed are refunded to the customer per SkyeOne's cancellation policy. Already-disbursed payouts are generally not clawed back unless the cancellation is due to a vendor breach.
Q6. Can I block dates on my calendar?
Yes. You can block any date from your Vendor Dashboard for personal use, maintenance, or prior commitments. Blocks take effect immediately for new bookings. Blocking a date after a customer has already booked it is treated as a vendor-initiated cancellation and subject to penalties.
Q7. Do I need a GST number to list on SkyeOne?
If your annual turnover exceeds ₹20 lakhs (services) or ₹40 lakhs (goods), GST registration is mandatory. If you are below the threshold, you can still list — simply declare your status during onboarding. You must notify SkyeOne within 15 days of crossing the threshold.
